Will Nina & Willow’s Mother-Daughter Bond Finally Stick or Is More Heartbreak Ahead?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) finally has hope for repairing the damage with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and forming a real bond with her. It’s been a long and winding road to get here, so let’s talk about that.
When Willow first found out Nina was her birth mother, she was reluctant to accept her due to their contentious history.
Nina kept at it and ultimately made major progress bonding with Willow, but then it all blew up due to Nina’s SEC secret.
Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Willow had a change of heart and now seems interested in reconnecting with Nina.
Since Willow feels like Drew has moved beyond his animosity toward Nina, she’s thinking maybe she should do that, too.
Of course, Willow doesn’t have the whole story since Drew and Nina aren’t exactly friends!
There’s still plenty of tension between them, but Nina and Drew have also hooked up more than once.
At this point, Drew and Nina are basically enemies with benefits and a mutual willingness to help each other.

Regardless, Nina desperately wants a relationship with Willow and could be poised to finally get one, but will it stick this time?

For whatever reason, the writing team seems to love watching Nina suffer.
If history is any indication, perhaps Nina shouldn’t get too comfortable with the idea of pulling Willow closer and having her daughter in her life.
It’s entirely possible that all this will end in disaster somehow since things never seem to work out well for Nina – at least not for very long!
Nina is often her own worst enemy, and Drew can’t really be trusted either since he was determined to get revenge on her not too long ago.
That said, how many times can the show keep letting Nina bond with Willow – only to have it all crumble right before her eyes?
It seems ridiculous to keep dangling that carrot and yanking it away since it’s just the same storyline over and over.
Could this be a real turning point that leads to Willow and Nina connecting permanently?
Will Nina actually score a lasting victory for once when it comes to her daughter?
