After she filmed a promotional video while wearing a wrist brace, Instagram users thought the reality star might have recently sustained an injury.
In the new Instagram post, Whitney Way Thore promoted a career consulting company. While plenty of fans found the video engaging, some noticed something peculiar.
Whenever Whitney’s hands come into the frame, so does a black brace fitted snugly on her wrist. So what exactly happened to the TLC star?
In the comments, Whitney addressed the issue when a fan expressed concern.
“What happened to your wrist?” one concerned Instagram user wrote. “Hope it’s ok.”
“I have a gnarly case of tendonitis, unfortunately!” Whitney replied. The Instagram user wished the TLC star well and hoped it healed soon.
While tendonitis can be incredibly serious, it seems that Whitney is taking care of herself. Overall, her fans feel thankful that she wasn’t in a terrible accident.

“I’ve been bombarded with people asking if I’m pregnant in this photo or what’s under my dress. It’s just my knees, y’all. 🤣 Definitely still not pregnant…for now!” she shared in her Instagram post.
The TLC star still dreams of motherhood, but she isn’t ready to share further plans with her fans yet.
