General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will get some news he didn’t see coming when he finds out Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is awake and escaped from Turning Woods.
Lulu will continue her reunion with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and try to wrap her head around all the stunning information she’s about to receive.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will help explain some things soon enough, but Lulu will be overwhelmed any way you slice it!
That’s going to be especially true when Lulu finds out everything Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has gone through.
Dante fell for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and planned to marry her after she donated part of her liver to save Lulu.
Since Sam never made it home from the hospital, her demise will hit Lulu hard.
Lulu will no doubt try to express her condolences to Dante, but he may have a heartbreaking response to her coma awakening.
Although Dante will certainly be thrilled for Rocco, he may keep his distance from Lulu after their initial reunion.
Dante may find it too painful to even look at Lulu right now since he’s still deep in the pit of Sam grief.
Dante feels guilty about Sam’s fatal outcome, so seeing Lulu again is only going to remind him that she’s here and Sam isn’t.
It’s easy to imagine Lulu overhearing Dante opening up to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) or someone else about that in the coming episodes.
Dante might admit that as much as he’ll always love Lulu, he just can’t be around her – at least not any more than he has to be because of Rocco..
Perhaps Dante will also confess that a romantic reunion with Lulu could never happen – not after everything that went down with Sam.
Maybe Lulu could eavesdrop on a conversation like that and end up crying in Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) arms afterward.
Our GH predictions hint that Dante and Lulu are destined to be a couple again down the road – no matter how Dante might feel in these next few months.
Even so, Lulu’s going to be devastated when Dante inevitably pushes her away, so that could lead to Cody stepping up to comfort her and being her fill-in love interest.
