The Real Reason Robyn Brown’s Daughter Aurora Has Panic Attacks?
Aurora’s panic attacks have been a topic of conversation among Sister Wives fans more than a few times. With fans waiting to learn if TLC will renew the series for Season 17, fans have nothing to do but rehash old Sister Wives history.
A few days ago, Robyn Brown’s daughter Aurora and her panic attacks popped up for discussion on Reddit. Turns out, the topic also came up on Reddit about two weeks ago as well. In these threads, SW fans shared their thoughts on Aurora’s panic attacks. More recently, however, fans have wanted to dig into the real reason behind the attacks.
Did something happen to Aurora that triggered her to have panic attacks at such a young age? Here’s what we know and what fans are saying.
Fans discuss the real culprit behind Aurora’s panic attacks
One Sister Wives fans responded to a thread discussing Auror’s panic attacks. The fan noted there were several different factors that contributed. For starters, Aurora went from living in a two-parent household with three children to joining a giant family with tons of children and four mothers.
Likewise, this fan believes neither Kody nor any of his wives realized how traumatic moving in such a hurry was for the children.
The individual continued to explain: “I don’t think the adults acknowledge enough that the move from Lehi to Vegas was really traumatizing for a lot of the kids. So re-opening that wound by picking up and moving to Arizona, then moving 2-3 times each in a single year, probably was re-traumatizing.”
Kody Brown refuses to hear about her attacks
Sister Wives fans also place some of the blame on Kody Brown himself. Kody made it crystal clear he was not interested in hearing about anxiety or panic involving the move. Instead of validating Aurora’s feelings and helping her through them, Kody just encouraged her to shut down her feelings and bury them.
Fans also believed Aurora was forced to parent her younger siblings. Sister Wives fans suspect that prior to being part of TLC, Robyn leaned very heavily on her daughter Aurora as the second parental figure in the house. Fans go on to speculate that Aurora was just forced to grow up too quickly and it created some real issues for her.
Another fan agreed that Kody doesn’t exactly create a happy or safe environment for his children.
Kody’s doom and gloom narratives are most definitely triggering to the kids anxiety. When they were looking for houses in flagstaff it was almost as if he was trying to make them anxious, like telling Ari that they don’t have a house and asking her if she can help daddy find one – who says that to their kids let alone a 3 year old?”
