General Hospital (GH) star Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) shared an inspiring quote recently. It interested ABC fans because he talked about “circumstances” and how you can still grow even if things are not going so well right now. Read on for more inspiring words from the mindset coach.

Steve touched on something on May 1 that interestingly affects many pople. The ABC star said in his Instagram reel that “pain isn’t random,” because it works as “a mirror.” He also said that he lives by a quote and cited James Allen, a British philosopher.
The quote was, “Circumstances don’t define the man, it reveals him to himself.”
Expanding on it in the reel, Steve opined that “no matter what you’re going through,” whether it’s “your fault” or not, “if we have enough awareness,” we can identify “what we need to work on.”
In the caption, the real-life Jason Morgan added more:
Circumstances don’t define you, it reveals you to yourself no matter what you’re going through. If it’s your fault or if it’s not your fault, that circumstance will reveal to us, if we have enough awareness of what we need to work on – to overcome or what we need to work on to have freedom from that particular thing. So let’s grow.
