In a new thread on Reddit, one fan notes that Christine Brown was “never” a polygamist at heart. The OP goes on to explain that she wasn’t trying to fool anyone she just didn’t realize it.
The fan goes on to liken Christine’s situation to Meri Brown’s child coming out as a lesbian before later coming out a second time as transgender. This Sister Wives fan believed Christine spent years fighting against her upbringing and the conditioning she experienced as a child.
“But just like Leon coming out as gay and then trans, she knew as soon as she was in a separate house in Vegas that she was never going to live in a plural house ever again. Turns out, Mykelti Padron has a lot of love for her father in her heart despite what is said about him on the Internet. In fact, she wants fans to know that TLC gives him a major villain edit on the show and he’s not really a bad guy.
Reacting to Mykelti Padron’s live stream, the OP of the Reddit thread pointed out that Kody Brown didn’t exactly make it very hard for TLC to give him the villain edit. Moreover, the fan noted that TLC’s edit of Kody had nothing to do with the way most of his adult children feel toward him.

Janelle Brown also came up as a topic of conversation during the live stream. More specifically, Mykelti was interested in defending the way her father acted toward Janelle. Or, at least she wanted to defend what was caught on camera and shared with the world via TLC’s Sister Wives.
Mykelti Padron understands that Janelle and Christine are friends. But, Janelle was also Kody’s wife and Christine was now his ex-wife. So, there was an understandable about of bad blood that Kody was in a position where his wife was holding onto a friendship with his ex-wife.
