Sister Wives Who Gave Meri Brown The 80k To Buy Her B&B?
When Meri Brown learned the B&B that had meant so much for her family was up for sale, there was no question in her mind. She had to purchase it and make it her own personalized bed and breakfast, make new memories, and start new traditions. There was no way she would let it slip through her fingers so she brought it to her sister wives and husband, Kody Brown. She explained she wanted them to help her with the down payment but they wanted to see a business plan, which was fair. Meri did what she could but they wanted a piece of it yet this was her dream.
Feeling defeated, Meri shared she was going to do some negotiation and work even harder at her MLM. Now, several years later, fans on Reddit were speculating how Meri got the money for the down payment. One person said this:
- Meri’s mom sold her house to get the $$ for Lizzie’s and when she did that meri put her in the house.
The reason this came up was because it seems that Christine Brown’s mother, Annie was going to be running the B&B. That never happened. According to Us Weekly, Meri Brown shared that her family helped her to get the 40K loan so she could get the B&B. On the show, Meri said this:
“I knew that the funds were not there. I just felt like, well, I’m just going to have to go do it then. So that’s why I got up and I left and I started working, because I knew that I needed to figure it out because it was something important to me.”
