Sister Wives star Aspyn Brown shared some exciting news, revealing she and her husband, Mitch Thompson, purchased a new home near her mother, Christine Brown. Now that the mother of six has moved closer to her daughters, the family has been hanging out a lot more since her split from Kody Brown. Aspyn has been by her mother’s side and now will be even closer.
After only a few years of sharing her life on Sister Wives, Apsyn chose to stay in Las Vegas when her father wanted to uproot everyone to Flagstaff, Arizona. In 2013, Aspyn enrolled at the University of Nevada, and luckily, she wasn’t totally alone as it was the same school her older brother Logan Brown attended. Aspyn studied Human Service with a focus on Marriage and Family Counseling and even joined a sorority. She and Mitch grew up attending the same church in Utah and eventually reconnected.

Sister Wives viewers learned that Aspyn and Mitch paid $445,000 on December 15, 2022, for a home in Midvale, Utah, via The Sun. Aspyn’s new home is a quick 20-minute drive from Christine’s home in Murray, Utah, and boasts 2,272 square feet. According to the news outlet, the home has three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. The single-family home was built in 1953 and also has a two-car garage. The Utah abode also features a finished basement, fireplace, and has red brick around the exterior. The young couple looked thrilled with their first real adult purchase.

Mitch took to his social media to share the good news as he posted a photo of him and his wife outside their new house. The TLC star wrote that he and Aspyn had just finalized the purchase of their new home “just in time for Christmas.” Fans and family rushed to the comment section to congratulate the couple, including Sister Wives star Janelle Brown. “Oh Congratulations!!! How exciting!” she wrote. Other fans said, “So so happy for you guys!!!” and “Congratulations!!!! Wonderful News!” Janelle’s son, Logan, recently bought a home in Las Vegas, so there was plenty of excitement to go around.
Sister Wives season 17 has wrapped, and while Aspyn wasn’t part of the show, there was still a lot of drama. Not only had Christine decided to leave Kody, but so did Janelle and Meri. Both women had been strung along for some time as Kody tried to figure out the new family dynamic. Now the patriarch is down to one wife and is on the outs with multiple children. It is safe to say that Aspyn won’t be inviting her father Kody to the housewarming party.
