‘Sister Wives’ Truth About Andreah Asking Meri Brown If She ‘F’d’ Anyone
In a recent episode of Sister Wives, Meri Brown went to lunch with two of her friends. When Meri shows up to meet Andreah and Hilaree, she is greeted with a shotgun question from Andreah. While some people found it odd that she was shooting so freely from the hip, others discounted it as simply girl talk. But now the true meaning behind Andreah blatantly asking her if she had ‘f*cked’ anyone has been revealed.
Meri Brown Gets Support From Other Polygamists
While Sister Wives star, Meri Brown has been struggling with her decision to leave Kody Brown, she believes it was the right choice. After Kody helped her settle in at the B&B, Meri met up with Andreah and Hilaree who both grew up in polygamy. They were with her while she requested the release from the plural marriage and were having a “six-month check-in.”
Much like Meri, Andreah also requested a release from her plural marriage, but Hilaree didn’t have the calling to live polygamy. Immediately, when they were walking up to their table at La Caille, Andreah blurts out, “So have you f*cked any men yet?” Although it was hysterical, there was more to the question than just being funny. Notably, Sam and Melissa Zitting Wyson with Growing Up in Polygamy shine a spotlight on what Andreah’s family says the reason behind the question truly was.
Truth About Andreah Asking Meri Brown If She ‘F*cked’ Anyone
On Reddit, Sister Wives fans discuss why Meri Brown’s friend Andreah blatantly asked if she had “f*cked” any men. First, a user says, “The reason for Andreah’s surprisingly blunt question.” Then, they elaborate, “According to Melissa who comments on Sister Wives with her husband, Sam, Andreah’s family texted Melissa that the reason Andreah asked Meri that question, ‘So have you f-d any men’ was because that was the question the AUB council asked her when she went for the release from her husband. Such holy men!!!” Further clarifying, “I need to clarify…Andreah asked Meri that question because when Andreah went to the AUB council to request a release that is what the council asked Andreah.”
- Another viewer remarks, “If that is true, then that is terrible. Meri may not have been expecting that question, so she responded like she often does, with wildly inappropriate laughing to cover up. If the church leaders really asked that question, the only appropriate response is silence and a death stare.”
- Someone else adds, “All Mormon and Mormon offshoots have one on one meetings (with teens and others that are going thru issues) that includes sex questions. I had to do it. Everyone feels they have to do it. Part of being in a cult is control over sex. First money, but then sex.”
Oh, The ‘Vulgarity!’
During Meri Brown’s conversation with Andreah and Hilaree, Meri has a bit of a flashback of going to La Caille. In Season 1, Meri and Kody Brown went to dinner at La Caille for their 20th anniversary. Then, she tried to get him to understand how hard it was for her, Janelle, and Christine to accept a new wife. She asked about how he would feel if she slept with another man. Kody was quick to point out the “vulgarity” of the idea of her with someone else. Undeniably, it is an obvious double standard since he has multiple women he is intimate with.
- Other Redditors noted, “Oh so it’s ok for these adulterous men to have multiple wives and screw (and screw in more ways than one) them, but the horror should a wife go out and do the same. This is the BS this cult made up so that men could F…around without consequences, yet the women are blasphemed. SMH.”
- “This!!! It’s the religious workaround of cheating. A different woman every night and not supporting them and the offspring. Just lovely.”
- “Remember Robyn said one of the reasons the Church will grant a release is if you sleep with someone else. That is probably one of the first questions they ask.”
