Sister Wives: Tony Spills Regret About Christine’s Wedding

Sister Wives star Tony Padron revealed something about Christine Brown’s wedding day in just a few words that left fans of the TLC series with questions.

Sister Wives: Tony Padron Brings Up Uncomfortable Topics

Tony Padron found a bit of sadness on Christine Brown’s wedding day. Still, his wife found the same topic “tragic” as her mom’s special day got underway. Both seemed thrilled for Christine, so the sadness had nothing to do with her marriage.

Tony is married to Mykelti Brown Padron, who is the daughter of Christine Brown and Kody Brown. When Tony first hit the screen on this series, he seemed to know how to push the buttons of the Sister Wives patriarch.

But, while he still may ruffle his father-in-law’s feathers now and then, it looks like Christine adores him. In a recent episode, his mother-in-law had Tony over with Mykelti and some of her other adult kids.

While the group painted family trees on the Sister Wives episode, they chatted. Tony asked one of those uncomfortable questions. This is what prompted Christine to suggest that he does that sometimes. They talked about Christine Brown’s divorce and the matchmaker she employed.

Then Tony asks, “Have you concluded that (polygamy) doesn’t work?” Well, Christine had an issue with this, and she explained why she couldn’t give a cut-and-dry answer on the subject.

Christine Brown Corrects Tony

While the kids painted their family trees, Christine Brown wouldn’t agree with Tony that polygamy didn’t work. While her days of plural marriage are over, she still holds the past near and dear to her heart.

She looked around her and said that it was polygamy that made her beautiful family. So, this Sister Wives celeb won’t say that she regrets it. Without polygamy, she wouldn’t have the kids that mean everything to her.

So, now in real-time, Tony chats about another uncomfortable topic having to do with Christine Brown’s wedding to David Woolley. From all accounts, Christine and David had a picture-perfect wedding overlooking the Colorado River.

The spectacular views were a mere accent to the beautiful bride, suggested fans as they gushed over Christine Brown’s wedding photos online. Sister Wives family members gathered to share Christine’s special day. This included Mykelti and Tony Padron as well as her other siblings… all except for one.

Sister Wives: Shocked at the Wedding

Mykelti and Tony Padron do an online Q&A segment. So, sometimes they answer questions about the Sister Wives show or about the family. But, in their latest online venue, questions regarding Christine’s wedding came up.

Mykelti did most of the talking. Tony Padron listened intently taking it all in. So, she told fans how it shocked her when one of her sisters, who is Christine’s biological daughter, was a no-show. From what else she said, it sounded as if her sister never called to explain why she didn’t attend.

That sister was Gwendlyn Brown, who just got married herself this summer. But she didn’t attend her mom’s wedding. This all came about when a fan asked Mykelti if her sister Gwendlyn was there. And she said no, that she didn’t attend.

Questions Surface from Fans

Another Sister Wives fan wondered if her sister didn’t show up because Paedon Brown was there. Gwen bashed her brother on social media a while ago. But Myketi answered that question by saying:

“I honestly don’t know. I don’t know.” She also said that “Gwendlyn didn’t tell me why she wasn’t there, and when she didn’t show up it was kind of a shock to me. I didn’t know she wasn’t going to be there.”

She also said, “It’s tragic” that her sister didn’t show up for her mom. That’s where Tony Padron comes in with his take on this. Tony said,  “It’s sad.” His wife agreed by repeating those words.

So, Tony thought it was sad for Christine not to have all her children there. Mykelti said that maybe something happened that prevented her from being there. But the bottom line is that no one knows why she was missing.

But Tony Padron revealed that Gwen’s absence was just sad, which seemed to sum it up. His wife, Mykelti, was visibly saddened by this as well.

Neither of these two mentioned how Christine felt about her daughter not celebrating her special day with her. But Sister Wives fans know how her kids are everything to Christine Brown after watching her for more than a decade on her TLC series.
