“Its painful for me – as a former banker & financial advisor – to see this family make some of the financial decisions they have. The MLMs, jewelry business, renting for this long to build on not paid off land, etc.
I guess what I am trying to figure out is what exactly has changed with TLC. Do you guys think they offered them less money for recent seasons? Or are they (mainly Kody/Robyn) spending quicker than they earn? As shows go on I do know typically a cast will be paid more, and because of the fame from one project/show, they can easily earn in other ways. I have wondered if they are making less because Kody would only agree to outdoor filming, or maybe they are stressed this last season because they believe the show will end soon.
Jenelle seems really concerned with whats happening financially. Its also pretty obvious Kody is only on this show for that paycheck, and he does the bare minimum to collect it. Do any of them do anything for $ besides MLMs and the show? ”
