‘Sister Wives’ Shocking Amount Each Brown Makes Per Episode

What is the shocking amount the Brown family makes for each episode of Sister Wives? The hit TLC reality series has been on for nineteen seasons and fifteen years. Things have evolved and changed a lot since its inception. So, how much are they banking after all of this time? Keep reading for more details.

Sister Wives Shocking Amount Each Brown Makes Per Episode

For the last fifteen years and nineteen seasons of Sister Wives, viewers have followed the trials and tribulations of the Brown family. Initially, there were three wives, the OG3 and they all lived in one home. Their husband, Kody Brown rotated between the three and it worked quite well. At the same time, he was courting single mother, Robyn Brown who lived five hours away. He had twelve children plus one on the way but was ready to bring in a fourth wife. She ended up moving close to the Browns once things progressed with her and Kody.

However, by Season 2, they were escaping Utah for Las Vegas. Each wife had their own home in a cul-de-sac but Kody was clearly favoring Robyn. First wife, Meri Brown was part of a catfishing scandal while second wife, Janelle Brown remained focused on work. Finally, third wife, Christine Brown Woolley slowly moved away from homemaker to businesswoman. They then moved from Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona, the pandemic began, and the family fell apart. Christine was the first to leave in 2021 followed by Janelle and eventually Meri realized her marriage was irretrievably broken.

With the change in the show, how much does the Sister Wives cast make per episode? They had allegedly taken a pay cut, per Kody, several seasons back but has that changed? It appears that they are each making a hefty sum for each episode, between $25K and $40K. Season 19 has an incredible amount of episodes, around 27. For whoever makes $40K, that would total $1,080,000 for the whole season, $675K a season for $25K per episode.

Pleading Poverty

Despite this high paycheck, Kody Brown is constantly pleading poverty. He claimed that he could not buy Janelle and Meri Brown out of Coyote Pass. If he were to do that, he would have to sell the home he and Robyn Brown lived in with her five kids. He did list and sell the house but, at the same time, the couple purchased a lavish $2.1 million mansion. They have also been traveling and he picked up a Mercedes. However, the OG3 are doing quite well on their own. The Sister Wives ladies have lucrative businesses as Janelle and Christine Brown Woolley are active in an MLM. Janelle has a flower farm with her daughter while Christine owns an Airbnb with her husband, David Woolley. Plus, she just wrote a book.

Meri Brown also works with an MLM, has her B&B, and launched a motivational business. So, adding in their hefty paychecks, they are doing just fine. Are you shocked at how much they make per episode? Or, did you think it would be more? Let us know in the comments below.
