Sister Wives Season 18 Preview: Kody Brown’s World Implodes
In the new season of Sister Wives, Kody Brown’s world will implode on him. He thought losing his third wife, Christine Brown was bad. In fact, he tried to keep her from leaving in every possible way. He told her that if she tried to leave with their youngest daughter, Truely, she would become property of the state. Then, he told Christine that any man she met in Utah would only want to use her for money because they would know who she was. Plus, they would be against her lifestyle. Essentially, he fed her lies to get his way but she left and found true love.
By the Season 17 Sister Wives tell-all, it was revealed that Kody Brown’s first and second wives, Meri and Janelle had also left the marriage. This left just Robyn Brown, who is his fourth wife, remaining and she claimed she had no plans for monogamy. In the preview for the upcoming season, it starts with Christine sharing that she left him for one particular reason. She knew that he had favorites. Next, Meri Brown talks about being friends and she does not look happy about this.
Of course, everyone is talking about Janelle Brown and how she stands up for herself. He tells her that she cheated him out of his family. Yet, it appears he is trying to gaslight her and she just won’t accept that. She tells him that she thinks that he is manipulating which he disagrees with. So, he gets up and storms away from her despite her asking him to stay and talk. This leads her to say “f**k you” and ask for the cameras to stop.
Queen Janelle
When Janelle told off Kody Brown, fans were so proud of her. This is not the first time she has done this, either. However, knowing that she officially left him, made it all the more sweet. They even left encouraging comments on TLC’s Instagram. “How many of us physically stood up and clapped and cheered when we heard Janelle tell ramen head FU? 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼,” one asked. Another added: “Janelle is the QUEEN 👑.”

Yet, it seems like there is more to resolve than anyone even realized. The belief was that this season would revolve around Meri and Janelle Brown making their exit. Sister Wives Sneak Peek: Kody & Christine Brown’s Ugly Demise
Last season on Sister Wives, Christine Brown vocalized that she was leaving the plural family. Along with that, she shared she was selling her Flagstaff home and moving to Utah with her youngest daughter, Truely. They had family there and she really felt welcomed when she would go back. Kody Brown tried to put up a fight but he just looked mean and nasty, worse than before. She pushed forward and did not care which may have been the hardest part for her ex. Plus, she shared when the marriage crumbled and it was when she was pregnant with Truely.
Now, the family is back for Season 18 and Kody is going to lose two more wives. Yet, he and Christine continue their path of ugliness in the preview. The Sister Wives star admits that she left Kody because she “could see he had favorites.” Now, this is something that was addressed last season. However, it has been addressed in the past by her children as he was often off with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown. Additionally, Janelle Brown brought it up and felt like she could never live up to the standard set by Robyn.live up to the standard set by Robyn.
Despite the fact that Christine Brown said the marriage began to suffer when she had to work while pregnant and Kody would not help, it seems there is more. The active favoritism was too much for her and now she is making it well known to everyone. It is one thing to make it a casual comment but now she is putting him on blast.
Fans Despise Kody
After seeing this Sister Wives clip, fans really despise Kody Brown, possibly more now than ever before. “This is the most hated man on TLC 😂,” one follower wrote. Another added: “Kody is finally getting what he deserves!!” One questioned his child support payments but, at this point, he only has one minor child left, Truely, who lives with Christine. It will be interesting to watch all of the dominoes progressively fall.
