Sister Wives: Robyn’s Bizarre Reason for Selling House is Not Divorce?
Sister Wives star Robyn Brown put her house on the market, but hints point to a strange agenda causing the sale. Instead of a divorce, as fans assumed, this last remaining couple from the TLC series may have something else driving their pending move.
Sister Wives Robyn Brown and Kody Brown Suddenly List House for Sale
It wasn’t all that long ago that reports had Robyn Brown looking for an overhaul of their Sister Wives house that’s now on the market. Nine months ago, Kody Brown and Robyn took out permits to revamp the home they live in today. So, why the move now?
The permits filed show Kody planned on a new roof and to demolish sections of the house. These permits also cite installing mechanical equipment, with upgrades to water and electrical in the home. So, it sounded like the Sister Wives celebrity planned some major upgrades.
Now, nine months later, Kody has the property on the market. When the permits surfaced, Sister Wives fans thought they were remodeling the place for themselves.
Robyn Pushes the Last Move
Robyn Brown and Kody Brown might have been fixing up the place to make it worth the 1.65 million they listed it for. That would make the most sense for this last remaining Sister Wives couple.
Some fans wonder if the celebrity owners act as a perk, considered into the asking price. So, maybe bragging rights for fans might factor in. But it’s not like it’s the former home of an A-list celebrity, so maybe not.
But going back to the last time the Sister Wives family moved, they could have lived anywhere in the country. Instead, they picked Flagstaff. Then fans discovered Robyn Brown’s oldest son would attend college within a stone’s throw of the Sister Wives family’s new location in Flagstaff.
Sister Wives: Dad’s Favorite Wife Got Her Way
When the real reason for the move to Flagstaff surfaced, it stunned Sister Wives fans. They realized the depth of Robyn’s control over the entire family. So, the online chatter started about Robyn’s need to be near her son and how that pushed the move to that city.
This was confirmed by Paedon Brown, who does not blame Dayton Brown at all. He said that Dayton didn’t want everyone to follow him off to college. He also said that Dayton is an “incredible brother” and his mom needs to cut the “umbilical cord.”
Paedon described the move to Flagstaff, “We didn’t get uprooted for Dayton, we got uprooted for Dad’s favorite wife.” But today, Robyn’s son lives in an RV in their backyard, which Paedon also confirmed.
Is Robyn Manipulating Her Son with This New Move?
Now with Dayton out in the backyard through all kinds of harsh weather, Sister Wives fans wonder if Robyn Brown wants him inside. But would she sell a house to do that? Sure, the RV is on wheels, which means they can pull it to their new destination. But Robyn had previous plans for her son’s living arrangements.
That said, is this Robyn’s way of pushing to get her son inside the safety of a brick-and-mortar dwelling? Or maybe just closer to her within the same four walls?
But when you look back on how Kody hoped to build that one big house, you can see how he planned four sections for the Sister Wives family. But, the blueprints for the other wives’ sections were different from Robyn’s section.
Her plan called for two master suites. One was for her and Kody and the other for Dayton, who was starting college back then. So, will they still build on Coyote Pass, but with a single house that includes a grown-up section for Dayton in the plans?
After moving the entire family to a new city for one of the 18 kids, this doesn’t sound too far-fetched. The Sister Wives fans have seen and heard it all. So, it’s not hard to fathom that Robyn Brown could have her son in mind with this new move.
It is just another thing that leaves fans scratching their heads about the family featured on the TLC series.
