Her daughter, Evie, was born with a condition that resulted in an amputation. However, Maddie gave her a life like a normal child. Sister Wives: What Is Evie Padron’s Condition?
Evie was born with a genetic disorder called FATCO. It causes her bones not to fully develop, which led to the amputation of one of her legs. Maddie has also been upgrading her daughter’s prosthetic leg as her daughter grows. However, the Sister Wives star thinks Evie sees herself differently from others due to her condition, but in a positive way. She has been proud of how strong of a child Evie has become, and she’s not letting her condition get in her way of living her best life.
Maddie’s Daughter, Evie, Dances In Recital Despite Amputations
Maddie Brown Brush recently took to IG to share photos of her daughter, Evie, from her dance recital. According to the Sister Wives star, after a whole school year of practice, Evie can finally show off the results of her hard work. While Maddie didn’t share videos from her daughter’s performance, she revealed that it was phenomenal.
Maddie also recalled the time when she gave birth to her daughter and learned about her condition. She admitted that she didn’t know what her life would look like. But it’s clear that Evie is living her life just like a normal child. Maddie added that Evie’s limb difference hasn’t stopped her from anything. She continued, “She’s kind. Fierce. Resilient. Sharp as a tack. And every time I watch her move through the world, I’m reminded how lucky we are to have her extra sparkle in our lives.” Maddie also admitted that Evie’s life has taught them many things about life, saying, “She taught us that when you drop your ego and your expectations at the door, parenthood becomes something wildly beautiful. You just buckle up, love big, and embrace the ride.”
Sister Wives: How’s Maddie Brown Today?
Aside from being a mom, Maddie Brown Brush has been thriving as an ambassador for the pink drink company she and her mother, Janelle, have been endorsing. The Sister Wives stars are currently high-ranking ambassadors for the company. Maddie has also been documenting her garden project with her mom. Many are also excited as Maddie gets to live closer to her mother permanently soon. This comes after Janelle revealed that she has finally begun building her dream house in North Carolina.
