‘Sister Wives’ Maddie Brown Gets Blasted Over Meri

Maddie Brown Gets Blasted Over Meri
She has always been a presence on Sister Wives, but Maddie Brush Brown has been featured more regularly. Maddie was there to help her mother, Janelle Brown, out, and the women went into business together. Along with Maddie’s husband, Caleb Brush, they are attempting to open a flower farm. Maddie also spoke out and shared her heartbreaking truth after her brother, Garrison Brown, passed away. Some of his siblings were featured on his tribute episode, and Maddie was a big part of it. The family finally comes together to say goodbye to Garrison during the Sunday, May 11th episode, but what about Maddie and Meri Brown?
For a very long time, Maddie has not cared for Meri, who was her father, Kody Brown’s first wife. She had alleged that she was abusive, something the other siblings backed up, and very cruel. However, one fan noted that Maddie was fine with Meri helping to pay for her 2016 wedding to Caleb. More so, they added that Meri was the main one who respected Maddie and did not enter the room when she was in labor. That was not necessarily true, as Meri was late to the birth. Therefore, it was her own fault she missed out on the big moment.
Regardless, Sister Wives fans believe that the bad blood between Meri and Maddie began over business. Allegedly, Meri let Maddie go from her MLM, and that was what caused the rift. In general, it seems Meri has been getting a bad rap when all she wanted to do was help the children. When she spoke about Garrison’s passing, she was visibly shaken and broken up over what happened. So, is there more to the story than most people know?
Treat Meri Better
It appears that Sister Wives fans believe that Meri Brown has long been misunderstood and mistreated. More so, she gave a lot and has gotten little in return. The children have said she was emotionally and physically abusive, but no one knows what happened behind closed doors. That being said, viewers do not care for how Maddie Brush Brown has treated her over the years:
- I also think that Meri was treated differently with her parenting style because she “only had” one child. I feel like she was excluded more than any of the other wives even before the whole catfishing situation.
- I believe Meri was the loud strict parent. I believe she truly loved the kids and they loved her back.
- Can we all agreed that every person in this family had and still has alot is issues that needed healing.
- Meri is a fierce and an intense person compared to Janelle being soooooooooo laid back and Christine’s free range parenting approach. Ironically Maddie is a pretty intense girl herself… 😂
- I hate to see the fans disdain for Meri based on the revenge tweets of unreliable narrators who are avoiding accountability and seemingly owe her money.
So, Meri was on her own in a lot of ways, and maybe that did not sit well with the children. However, everyone wants her to have the benefit of the doubt, which is extremely fair.
