Recently, the TLC star recalled an incident when her husband threatened to make her feel horrible for twenty years. Meri revealed, “One time he told me, this was right after he moved to Vegas” in front of Jenn.
Kody told her that she had been horrible to him for 20 years. Hence, he wanted the TLC star to wait at least that long for him to fix issues with her. Kody and Meri were living in Nevada during this incident in 2011.
The former told her that was hard to live with and very mean. He continued, “And so now I am going to be this way to you and you’re just going to have to deal with it for 20 years.”
Jenn was in disbelief about Kody’s behavior. However, Meri proved that she was no longer bothered by his comments. She also noted that the joke’s on him because she didn’t even stay that long. Moreover, Kody explained that he didn’t make all the comments because he was mad at Meri.
He was just mad enough, to tell the truth, because he always thought he should have divorced her at one point or another. But he didn’t believe in divorce during that time, which led to all this mess.
