Sister Wives stars Kody and Robyn Brown weren’t really sure if they would attend Gwen’s bridal shower or not. They were well aware that Christine would introduce her boyfriend, and things would get awkward. Hence, they were dicey about the event until the last moment. However, they finally decided to attend it, and Kody wasn’t able to stop praising Robyn because of it.
He stated to the cameras, “I’m here with my shy and pretty wife, my one pretty wife.” Kody added, “And she’s shy, but she’s not shy with me.” The celeb emphasized the words “shy” and “pretty,” which made viewers squirm in their seats. They wondered why he was praising Robyn in the most creepy way possible.

Sister Wives star Robyn Brown has a great conversation with David Woolley during Gwen’s bridal shower. The latter explained how he also grew up around the polygamous dynamics and was well aware of everything. Woolley further talked about his family and kids while he maintained eye contact with Robyn. The celeb evidently didn’t pay any heed to Kody, who was standing right next to the latter.
This clearly didn’t sit well with Kody. He talked about this incident in the confessional and recalled how David was simply talking to Robyn and not him. The celeb found this “interesting,” while his face spoke volumes about his insecurities. Apparently, Robyn is Kody’s only remaining wife, and he evidently is very possessive of her. That could be the reason why he didn’t like the way David was solely talking to Robyn and not him.
Fans predicted that David was talking to Robyn more than Kody because she was more responsive to him. She replied to him with a smile on her face and maintained a civil conversation. On the other hand, Kody’s flat face wouldn’t have been really appealing for David, and he may have focused more on Robyn than Kody.
Kody didn’t really like this, and he was evidently disturbed by David and Robyn’s conversation. Moreover, he was in shock when he learned that David had already met his grandkids. His face turned red when Mykelti revealed that Woolley often babysits her kids and is great with them.
