‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown’s Money Issues As Wives Flee
Recently on Sister Wives, Kody Brown revealed that three of his beloved cars were being sold off. Now, TLC fans ponder why he would do that. Is it because Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown no longer help to fill the coffers? Notably, their lifestyles uptick, while he seems to decline. Read on to find out what fans are saying.
Sister Wives Kody Brown Rumored To Struggle Financially
Rumors that the dad of 18 kids struggles with money floated around for years. And yet, in 2021, his net worth sat at about $1 million. However, a lot of that was tied up in property. So, it seemed that he struggled with cash liquidity. Now that a friend named Brian, who happens to own a car dealership, is taking over the cars, theories arise about it. Some TLC fans suspect that the two work together to buy and flip off cars.
Could Kody Brown just hide some assets? Or, is he just selling them because a monogamous couple doesn’t need so many sets of wheels? A big theory is that it’s time to do some real development on Coyote Pass. After all, the Sister Wives star seems to have spent a lot of money on unpaid land taxes, and that can add up to a lot of cash. However, in June, Kody, Janelle, and Robyn’s piece of land was finally paid. Recall, that Janelle Brown has been pushing for development.
Sister Wives Kody Brown’s Estranged Wives Live It Up
On Reddit, a theory arose that Meri, Janelle, and Christine’s departures left Robyn’s husband tight on income. Most of the adult kids are financially independent. And, why should the ex-wives have to fork out for Robyn’s children? Meri always did well with LuLaRoe. Meanwhile, Janelle and Christine seem to do well with their Plexus business. However, Robyn generates zero, as far as TLC fans know.
An OP noted in part:
…I think it’s very convenient that once all the people who are making money leave kody, kody decides it’s time for his cars to go.
In the replies, an interesting response arrived:
- Janelle leaves- moves into a posh 1200 sq foot apartment, meri leaves and starts renovating the B and B, building bougie boutique. Christine travels internationally with a bunch of her kids, free of saving her grocery money for vacation. Leaving Kody seems to come with a significant boost to the quality of [the wives]. Kody seems to be the only one downsizing.
- In other words, the wives live it up, free of giving their ex their money to splurge on Robyn Brown. Selling the cars could mean that the Sister Wives patriarch feels the pinch now that they are independent.
What do you think about the theory of Kody Brown’s former wives keeping their cash for themselves, leaving their ex broke? Do you think that selling the cars is the most obvious sign of a downturn in financial circumstances? Share your thoughts in the comments, and keep coming back for more about TLC’s Sister Wives.
