Meri, Janelle, and Christine have thrived since leaving their toxic marriage with Kody, focusing on themselves and new opportunities. Christine found her forever husband in David Woolley, a drywall business owner. Together, the pair runs an Airbnb in Utah. The Sister Wives star frequently praises her new husband on social media, often taking subtle digs at Kody.
As for Janelle, she is on a healing journey after the death of her son, Garrison Brown. She spends time with her children and goes on business trips to Las Vegas. Janelle is also nurturing her hobbies, such as gardening, and has reportedly started a business venture related to it. Meri, on the other hand, appears to be out of touch with the rest of the family. After her breakup with boyfriend Amon Andrews, she has likely been focusing on managing her B&B in Utah.
Janelle and Christine seem to be prioritizing their children over the family drama. The Sister Wives have revived the tradition of a yearly family trip to Wyoming, a practice that started during their time with Kody. Janelle shared a clip on Instagram of herself enjoying time at a reservoir in the Wyoming Mountains. “Family time ! Loving every minute of it !” she captioned the post. She tagged Christine, her children, and Maddie and her husband, Caleb Brush. Surprisingly, Meri’s child Leon was also tagged in the post.
Sister Wives: Did Kody & Meri Join The Family Reunion?
Janelle also tagged her husband, David Woolley, in the post, indicating that he was present at the Brown family reunion. However, Kody and Meri were nowhere in sight or mentioned on Instagram. While it is known that Meri has a strained relationship with all the other Sister Wives, her child Leon attended the reunion. This could likely mean that Meri could not make it for some other personal or professional commitment. However, her absence has fueled speculation that she is not on speaking terms with the family.
Kody was also not present at the family gathering. Most of the OG Brown kids have distanced themselves from their father. Thus, it is likely that the Sister Wives and their children intentionally excluded Kody from this family trip. Some believe that Kody went on a separate trip with Robyn and their kids.
