Details From The Police Report Show Garrison Brown Was Struggling
News of Garrison Brown’s passing broke on Tuesday afternoon. According to the report from the Flagstaff Police Department, a self-inflicted gunshot wound is what led to his death. His brother, Gabriel Brown, was the person who found him in his home in Arizona.
Garrison’s roommates and Gabe Brown have told police that the 25-year-old struggled with his mental health as well as alcohol abuse. Gabe says he thought things were getting better for his older brother though. He had recently started a new job at a medical facility and was going to school to become a nurse.
When speaking with the police, Janelle Brown opened up about Garrison’s relationship with his father, Kody Brown. The pair have been estranged for some time and did not mend their relationship prior to Garrison’s death. The Sister Wives star also told police that she wished she had gotten him help before it was too late.
There were signs that Garrison Brown’s mental health was declining. The day before his body was discovered, he sent a text message that worried Janelle. She reached out to her children to see if anyone was available to check in on Garrison. Gabe Brown volunteered, but Garrison was already gone when he arrived.
