Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown reveals secret trip to hospital and admits she must ‘take care of herself’ in alarming video
JANELLE Brown has shared some thoughts about making doctors’ appointments in the new year.
The Sister Wives star shared an Instagram video on Monday to inform followers that she was going to start taking better care of her health.
The selfie video started with Janelle, 54, saying she finally felt like she could take a breath after having a busy past few weeks.
The reality star spent the holidays with family, attended fellow sister wife Christine Brown’s wedding to David Woolley, and just returned from a trip to Disney World.
Continuing on, she admitted that she is “really horrible at making doctors’ appointments to take care of myself.”
“Life gets really busy, it’s easy to put it off,” she added.
Janelle then said she went to get a mammogram after not having gone for a few years, further clarifying how it only took 15 minutes out of her day.
“This year I think we need to all just make sure we take care of ourselves and make those appointments,” the TLC star said.
WEIGHT LOSS SUCCESS
When it comes to her health, Janelle has also put her weight at the forefront of her priorities.
The reality star has focused on her diet regimen recently, reaching major success by dropping over 100 pounds since her split from her polygamist ex-husband, Kody Brown, 55.
Last year, the U.S. Sun reported that Janelle and Kody separated after about 29 years of marriage.
Christine and Meri, 53, also left the plural marriage, leaving Kody with just one wife, Robyn, 45.
In November 2022, the U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that Janelle had slimmed down to nearly half her former size.
“Janelle has lost a ton of weight. She does not look the same. She’s half the size she was,” an insider said at the time.
The 55-year-old often uses her platform on Instagram to promote the weight loss supplement Plexus, which she claims helped her achieve her goals.
FAMILY UPDATE
When it comes to the breakup of Kody’s family, the TLC star recently opened up about how difficult it’s been for him to move on.
“I’m struggling to see what the future holds, maybe because I just haven’t let go enough of the past,” the Brown patriarch revealed before the New Year in an interview with People,
The TV star went on about how it “felt like everybody else was unhappy because I felt like I was lodging all the complaints, that it just made me cynical.
“I loved our situation. It just seemed like not everybody else did.”
“I didn’t want to be the guy that has this family that I struggle with until I’m dead. Then they all get along just great after I’m gone,” he continued.
“I don’t understand why we can’t transcend this now. It broke my heart that we couldn’t transcend our differences. It’s part of life.
“I loved the life we have, and I hope I love the life that I’ll get.”
The TV personality described his life as “a Shakespearean love story that’s a tragedy.”
