Janelle Brown of TLC’s Sister Wives kicked off the week with a medical rant on Instagram Live. The reality TV personality kicked off her brief live stream by apologizing to her 1.1M followers. She realized she doesn’t go live nearly as often as she would like to. Scrolling through her profile, January 1st was the last time she went live.
Janelle, however, had something really important she wanted to discuss with everyone. The discussion quickly turned into a bit more of a rant.

Sister Wives Janelle Brown Goes On Medical Rant
Janelle Brown went live on Instagram about an hour ago. She kicked things off by discussing how busy she’s been as of late. Janelle and her daughter just returned from a bit of a vacation. Switching gears, she proceeds to go on a bit of a medical rant.
Janelle Brown owns the fact that she’s never been great about making doctor appointments. Turns out, she was two years behind on getting her last mammogram. She, however, finally made the time to get it done.
Janelle was surprised to report the entire appointment took about 15 minutes. She was a bit flabbergasted. The TLC star admitted she could not understand why she put off such a simple appointment that only took 15 minutes.
As she continued, she owned understanding why. She was a busy businesswoman. Janelle was also a caretaker. And, she was a grandmother. She was constantly on the go and taking care of herself was never at the top of her list. This year, however, she wanted to do things differently. She wanted to stop putting off small doctor’s appointments. And, she wanted to take better care of herself.

Now, the video has only been on her profile for an hour. This, however, was something the parents who followed her could relate to. Many did admit there are other factors involved in not making doctor’s appointments.
For example, a lot of people in the U.S. don’t go to the doctor simply because they can’t afford to do so. So, a simple and quick procedure could be out of reach for some because they cannot afford it.
Some of her fans admitted they were also bad about putting themselves last on their to-do list. They wanted to join Janelle in trying to do things differently this year. Here’s what some had to say in the comments:

Sadly, some fans speculated Kody Brown was partially to blame for her not taking better care of herself the last few years.
