‘Sister Wives’ Christine Brown Takes Major Step Following New Marriage
Sister Wives star Christine Brown recently took a major step following her marriage with David Woolley.
Earlier this week, Christine, 51, took to her Instagram Story to reveal she legally changed her last name from Brown to Woolley following her October Nuptials.
A clip of her story re-shared via TikTok showed the mom-of-six updating her fans as part of her “car confessions” series.
“You know it is amazing what you can get appointments for and get them done so fast. My driver’s license, name change and everything. It was so easy,” she explained. “The driver’s license with the appointment, so easy, Social Security for an appointment, it was amazing.”
Christine lauded the process as “so efficient,” with it taking only 10 minutes “in and out the door.”
Eagle-eyed fans may have noticed the TLC star officially changed her name to “Christine Brown Woolley” on her Instagram bio, too.
In November, Christine shared her last name plans with Entertainment Tonight.
“I will change it legally to Christine Woolley,” she told the publication. “But I’ll still be known as Christine Brown, just because I’ve been Christine Brown for 14 years, you know? But no, it will be Christine Woolley, definitely.”
After connecting on a dating app in October 2022, Christine and David met in person for the first time that December. They went public with their relationship in February 2023, announcing their engagement in April. On Oct. 7, 2023, they tied the knot during an outdoor wedding ceremony at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah.
