Gabriel Brown Found His Brother Dead
Kody Brown and Janelle Brown issued a joint statement regarding the loss of their son on Tuesday, shortly after the news of his death broke. They both shared the same photos and messages on Instagram. Janelle and Kody stated that they were saddened by the loss and that Garrison Brown was always a “bright spot” in their lives.
Garrison’s younger brother, Gabe, found him at his home in Arizona. The Flagstaff Police Department confirmed that a self-inflicted gunshot wound is what led to the Sister Wives star’s death.

They released a statement shortly after Garrison’s body was discovered. “It is with great sadness I confirm Mr. Robert Garrison Brown was located in his residence deceased, as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” the statement read.
“On 03/05/2024 Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home. Upon arrival, officers met with a sibling, identified as ‘Gabe,’ and discovered Mr. Brown deceased as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” it continued.
While they are investigating the death, the police department said that there was no foul play suspected at this time. Word of his death has absolutely rocked the family to its core.
The Sister Wives Family Is Devastated
An insider close to the Sister Wives stars shared information about how the family is coping with such a tragic loss. Garrison’s mom, Janelle Brown, is understandably destroyed by the news.
“I’ve never heard her so angry and numb. She’s not processed [it] clearly,” a source told The U.S. Sun regarding Janelle Brown’s state of mind. “She’s definitely not processed this at all. She doesn’t even know which end’s up.”

“She’s very angry right now,” they continued. “She’s not a crier or an emotional person. Takes a lot to get her to break. So I think right now she’s going to go, like, ‘What the heck happened? What did I do wrong?’” The Sister Wives star had previously opened up about concerns for her son’s mental health.
“This family is extremely broken and tortured, and it’s very painful for many of them,” the insider shared. Robyn Brown is also reportedly “really devastated” by Garrison Brown’s death. However, she has remained silent about the loss.
