Sister Wives stars Christine Brown Woolley and Leon Brown share how they missed the late Robert Garrison Brown on his birthday. A few months ago, the Brown family seemed content with their lives. While everyone had been through a lot due to inter-family splits, they were still excited about a bright future. Unfortunately, their lives took a big turn after Kody and Janelle Brown’s son, Garrison, passed away in March 2024, a month before his 26th birthday. Garrison reportedly had shot himself in the head after struggling with mental health issues and suicidal thoughts.
Recently, the Brown family members took to Instagram and shared how they missed Garrison on his birthday.
Christine posted a few never-before-seen family pictures featuring some of their warmest moments. One photo showed Garrison beside Kody with a candid smile on his face.
Another snap showed the family members sharing gifts during Christmas. Christine titled her post, “gosh. It was just too hard to post. So many good times, so many memories,” revealing that she didn’t post anything on April 10 because she simply didn’t have the strength to overcome the grief.

The Brown Family Members Visited Garrison’s Favorite Place
Meri and Kody’s child, Leon, also dedicated a post to Garrison. They reposted Janelle’s emotional tribute with their thoughts. They wrote, “I spent the whole day crying yesterday because I just wanted to text you ‘Happy Birthday Gary.’” Leon used the post to tell Garrison that they missed him a lot. They added, “I miss you so much, I love you forever.” Janelle originally shared a heartbreaking video of Garrison’s past birthday. She revealed that the family members talked a lot about him and even visited his favorite place, Texas Roadhouse.
Christine, Leon, and Janelle must have felt heartbroken on April 10. Therefore, it’s incredibly sweet of them to take the time to ensure that Garrison got the birthday wishes on his day. Every year, the Brown family members use social media to wish each other on special occasions. While Garrison is no longer with them, they still want to honor and remember him by making a post dedicated to him. Their social media posts allowed them to show their love for Garrison and gave fans a chance to wish him a happy birthday.
Many Sister Wives cast members didn’t post about Garrison on his birthday. However, their lack of activity on social media doesn’t mean they didn’t miss him.
Kody, Robyn, and other Brown family members didn’t talk about Garrison on his special day because they likely didn’t find the strength to do it. They may still be mourning his loss and not want to share their feelings with the public. Garrison was integral to the family and got along well with everyone else. Hopefully, the Sister Wives cast will find the strength to move on while holding onto Garrison’s memories.
