Kody Brown and his family members might be public figures after sharing much of their lives on reality television, but they’re still real people. When Kody’s father died in 2013, he left many family members behind. Winn Brown’s obituary shines a little bit of light into his polygamist world.

“Fun fact: Winn Brown had three wives not just the two shown on the show and her name was [Bobbie.] Per his obituary. Wonder why she didn’t want to be paraded on the show lol,” one Redditor shared with other fans recently.

Winn Brown’s obituary is easy to find online and does indeed note three wives. It notes that he was survived by “his wives Genielle, Bobbie and Sheryl.” Genielle is Kody Brown’s mother. Many other Sister Wives fans remember that Sheryl, who passed away after Winn, was Janelle’s mother.

On Reddit, many users admitted they didn’t know about Bobbie. But ultimately, most weren’t surprised to know that Winn Brown had another wife in addition to Genielle and Sheryl.
