Sister Wives’ Christine Brown remembers sweet gesture Garrison did for her daughter Truely in tribute after his death
Fans online have been mourning Garrison
CHRISTINE Brown has spoken out in the wake of Janelle Brown’s son Garrison’s death.
Christine, 51, and Janelle, 54, were sister wives as they were both married to Kody Brown.
On March 5, Janelle’s 25-year-old son Garrison died in his apartment of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Christine and Janelle’s children have been close for several years, and their bonds have grown stronger since the two Sister Wives left Kody.
To honor Garrison, Christine shared a video on Instagram where he was helping Christine’s youngest child Truely, 13.
According to Christine’s caption, Truely desperately needed a hobby, and Garrison understood the assignment.
He helped his half-sister build a large wooden flowerbed.
They laid the pieces of wood down to create the sides and then Garrison cut open fresh bags of soil and filled the bed.
Truely helped a little, but her older brother took on most of the hard labor.
Christine captioned the post: “Garrison was a wonderful, caring brother who understood Truely’s need for a hobby and built her a flowerbed.
“We’ll miss him forever. #gratitude #missyou #loveyou #tellthoseyoulovethatyoulovethem.”
HE’S VERY MISSED
Fans in the comment section of the social media video mourned the young man and shared their condolences.
One wrote: “I don’t even know you guys and I’ve cried several times over this. As an audience we watched Garrison grow up. I am so sorry for your loss.”
“It’s such a strange thing to feel SO sad about someone I’ve never met. But we’ve watched your children grow up over all of these years,” added another.
A third said: “Wow Christine thank you so much for posting something beautiful.”
“No words can be said that would be enough for you or Janelle. Just know our hearts are so sad for you guys,” commented a fan.
A fifth wrote: “You can tell he was the best big brother. I’m heartbroken for you all. Sending love and light.”
A MOM’S REGRET
Janelle has made a heartbreaking confession in the wake of his suicide.
The U.S. Sun has exclusively obtained the police report detailed when Janelle arrived on the scene on March 5.
According to the documents, Janelle commented “he just stopped texting last night.”
The report said: “Janelle also made the comment that she should have gotten Garrison help in the past as well.”
Janelle also remarked that Garrison was “estranged from his father.”
Before his death, it was known to Sister Wives fans that Garrison and his dad had a tumultuous relationship for years.
Gabe told the police that Garrison “had been struggling with mental health concerns and alcohol abuse.”
