‘Sister Wives’ Backlash: Fans Outraged Over Staged Avalon Drama!
Sister Wives fans are disgusted over the fake Avalon Padron drama that ensued on the Sunday, January 5th episode. The tot appeared to have gone missing leading to a scary hunt for Mykelti Brown Padron’s daughter. Yet, was it legit or all for theatrics? Keep reading for more details on what viewers had to say.
Sister Wives Fans Disgusted Over Fake Avalon Drama
There have been a lot of filler scenes this season of Sister Wives and that could be due to Garrison Brown’s untimely death. The family did not want him featured on the show so he has been cut out from all scenes. This meant they had to film pick-up scenes and use older bits to fill in for where Garrison may have been. Plus, if he was a part of any conversations, those had to be scrapped by production. Though viewers have already seen Christine Brown Woolley tie the knot in a wedding special, they are seeing it again.
She was shown meeting and falling in love with David Woolley. Their entire courtship has been a storyline for Season 19. At this point in the season, it is the wedding weekend and everyone has gathered. The one thing emphasized is how the location has a lazy river. This was highly dangerous so everyone needed to take precautions. Suddenly, they noticed that Mykelti Brown Padron’s toddler daughter, Avalon was missing. A hunt ensued for her and everyone was terrified she was missing or in the river.
No sooner did the panic set in and the search was on that she was found with her grandmother, Maria. Tony Padron’s mother had her the whole time so it did not make any sense why the family was so scared. Sister Wives fans were just as confused and began a Reddit thread to discuss this. The OP wrote:
- How many people think the whole Avalon missing thing was completely fake so they could have some drama? She was with her grandmother. I think all that jumping over the fence is running toward the river was almost like a Johnsonville Bratz sausage commercial!
Lack Of Content, Bring On The Drama
Sister Wives fans agreed that there was a lack of content at that moment. Therefore, they had to spice it up in some way. What better than to have Avalon go missing?
- Running out of content…now we have to watch the wedding again next week! Noooooo
- I think avalon missing was real and maria’s responsibility for her fake.
Someone noted how it was Janelle Brown, Christine Brown Woolley’s sister wife who was holding Avalon when she was found. They wondered if the Brown family knew Maria’s responsibility to Avalon that day. Another added this:
- Well, then, I suspect that production had Maria leave with Avalon without Mykelti knowing so that they could get that reaction out out of her
It is unclear what happened that day but fans are growing tired of the staged scenes and stories. At this point, if that is all that is left, no one will be watching.
