General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show could be gearing up for another baby switch storyline. Will two pregnancies collide for a shocking swap with devastating consequences?

For starters, we’ve got Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who recently had a life-changing conversation with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Chase and Brook Lynn are on the same page about starting their family now, so they could have a bun in the oven soon enough.

It’s clear that Brook Lynn and Chase are ready to become parents to their own child, so the baby-making efforts have commenced.

If someone else on canvas gets pregnant at the same time, there’s a very good chance a baby switch is in the works.

That brings us to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and the possibility that she’ll end up expecting a miraculous bundle of joy.

Poor Molly is starting to feel like she just isn’t destined to be a mother.

Molly’s endometriosis complications forced her to turn to a surrogate for help, but Andrea Gates (Lily Anne Harrison) lost the first baby Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) tried to have.

Of course, we all know how things turned out with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and her surrogacy, so Molly has likely reached the point of giving up.

Based on Molly’s conversation with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in the September 23 preview clip, it seems like she might be ready to throw in the towel on parenthood.

Molly might think the universe is trying to tell her that she shouldn’t be a mom.

Dex will shut down the pessimism if Molly tries to surrender to all the obstacles and forget her motherhood goals.

It may be Dex who predicts Molly WILL be a mom – and it could be Dex who fathers the child if all this bonding keeps up.

GH writers have to be going somewhere with Molly and Dex’s growing connection – and it probably isn’t anywhere good for their respective relationships with TJ and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

If Molly hooks up with Dex, she could wind up defying her medical struggles with a pregnancy she never expected.

It might not be the situation Molly would prefer, but she’d surely still embrace the thought of finally being a mom.

However, the stakes would be high since Molly has lost two children already through all the surrogacy drama.

If Molly were to lose a third, that might give someone some strong motivation to swap her dead baby for Brook Lynn’s living one.

Then again, the switch could play out another way instead depending on what happens between now and then.

The point is that Brook Lynn’s pregnancy may be brewing at the same time as a miraculous one for Molly.

If Dex gets Molly pregnant while BLQ is expecting, a baby swap story seems like the logical way to go.
