‘POOR KID!’ Sister Wives fans accuse Christine of ‘irresponsible and selfish’ parenting decision with daughter Truely, 13, at home
Christine was also called out for her ‘shady’ comment about her kids online
CHRISTINE Brown has been slammed for her seemingly irresponsible parenting of her teen daughter Truely.
The 13-year-old revealed during Christine’s Sister Wives wedding special that she began living with David Woolley before they got married.
The special was aired at the weekend and showed Christine’s Utah wedding to David in October 2023.
In one scene before the nuptials, Christine’s daughter Aspyn asked Truely, “Are you ready?
“Your mom’s going to be married to David like, tomorrow.”
The teen replied, “Well, I already lived with both of them.”
Christine and David tied the knot 11 months after they met – meaning they would have moved in together after just months of dating.
Sister Wives viewers slammed Christine for allowing David to move in with her and Truely so soon.
“Moving a man you barely know in with your child is absolutely irresponsible and selfish,” one wrote on Reddit:
“If they got married after just 11 months at what point did he move in because Truly makes a note that they ‘already live together’ at the wedding.”
“I completely agree about moving in with David too early and how that must have confused Truly,” another added.
“David might be the kindest and most supportive husband and step-father ever and still this would be moving too fast,” a third posted.
“I’m sure Truely was confused because the main male in her life has always been absent. Maybe she’s a little shy around men?” someone else commented.
Christine was also slammed for being seemingly shady towards her children while praising her daughter Mykelti.
The reality star shared throwback pictures from her wedding to David.
In one of the photos, Mykelti embraced her famous mother, who wore her white wedding gown.
CHRISTINE’S DIG?
The TLC star captioned the post: “I’ll always forever be grateful to [Mykelti] for enthusiastically accepting [David] into my life.
“She has ALWAYS been so supportive and LOVES David. They have an incredible relationship.”
In an online thread, eagle-eyed fans claimed the reality star edited her caption and initially wrote, “I’ll always be grateful to Mykelti for accepting David into my life before the rest of my kids.”
One critic slammed, “I think both captions sound bad. It’s like Kody and Christine compete to get Mykelti to like one more.”
Another argued, “That was very shady of Christine to say about her kids.”
The second part of Christine’s wedding special will drop on January 14.
Her ex-sister wife turned best friend Janelle Brown, 54, and her children were among the roughly 330 guests at the nuptials.
However, multiple Brown family members did not attend the wedding.
To no one’s surprise, Christine’s ex-husband Kody, 54, and his last remaining wife Robyn, 45, were not invited.
Christine’s remaining ex-sister wife Meri, 52, was also not invited to the event.
