But her husband, Adam Busby, is someone who goes with the flow. Seemingly, she had no idea how much of a practical joker she married. She shared a story about how Adam violated her with cockroaches.
Adam Loves To Mess With Danielle Busby
Undoubtedly, OutDaughtered mom Danielle Busby, didn’t know exactly what she was getting into when she married Adam Busby. Unmistakably, their marriage has been an adventure. No one could have prepared them for life with six daughters, five who are quintuplets. Although Danielle likes to have fun, she tends to be more straight-laced. Adam, on the other hand, loves to have a good time even when it annoys Danielle. He’s full of jokes and keeps Danielle on her toes. But their personalities appear to balance each other out.
In the newest podcast episode, Danielle revisits a story she told in one of the first podcasts after pulling a question card that read, “What is a memory we share that you’ll never forget?” In an early episode of their podcast, More Than Reality, Danielle held a grudge over Adam keeping the flashlight for himself after hers had died during their honeymoon water excursion. Adam tells her she needs to think of something they haven’t talked about. So Danielle reveals that Adam violated her with cockroaches. She is still mad at Adam because she can’t stand cockroaches. They make her skin crawl. Adam chuckles and says Danielle is “deathly afraid” of cockroaches.

Then, OutDaughtered mom, Danielle Busby, reveals that Adam Busby tortured her. She gets a physical reaction even to the idea of roaches. Admittedly, Adam says he was just going to mess with her, but she didn’t handle it well. Danielle remembers being in the bathtub trying to relax but saw a cockroach. She screams for Adam to rescue her, but he thinks she’s inviting him in for a good time. She needed his help because she felt vulnerable in the bath as it crawled across the floor. But she knew Adam was going to be tempted to be a “jerk.”
Then, Danielle recalls, he picked it up by the antenna and “flung” it at her. Contrarily, he defends himself, saying he had planned to “act like” he was going to toss it in the tub, but the joke went awry. Correspondingly, he accidentally “wedged” it under his fingernail, and it landed right in front of Danielle on the water. Even reliving the incident, Danielle was flustered. She remembers almost having a heart attack when he was playing around. Furthermore, he laughs, but she explains it shook her up so much she even screamed the F word, which is a rarity for her.
Adam Didn’t Seem Very Sorry
Although OutDaughtered star Adam Busby says he didn’t intend for the bug to get in the tub, Danielle Busby doesn’t think he was sorry. He tried to say it was a “complete fluke.” But Danielle shares that even though it is a huge fear for her, he had the “audacity” to buy dozens of fake cockroaches for Blayke, Ava, Hazel, Olivia, Parker, and Riley Busby to torment her. Undoubtedly, Adam still finds it extremely funny to be able to make her jump. He says that Ava Busby is the only kid who seems to have inherited her mom’s fear of cockroaches. Although Danielle doesn’t appreciate the joke, she still appears to be a good sport about it since she knows her husband. Both Adam and Danielle try to keep humor in their marriage to help them enjoy life, even if it is at the other’s expense.
