Whitney Thore may be single, but she isn’t ready to mingle. Although she is open to the idea of dating, she admits to still being in love with the Frenchman. Moving on from her French lover isn’t going to be easy, but her family has her back and is helping her get back into the dating world.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star explains that her nephew, Ryne, is trying to set her up with his friend Kenny. The two have already met through a video chat, but they are now meeting in person for Thanksgiving dinner.
Whitney talks about what she likes in a man during her family’s Thanksgiving dinner. She reveals that she likes a man who is direct in what he wants. So, Kenny takes it as a cue to ask her to her niece Jamie’s wedding as his date. She agrees to be his plus one.
The TLC celeb reveals to Kenny that she hasn’t kissed anyone in four years, except for the Frenchman. So, he decides to lean over and kiss her. She thought there could be something between them, but she quickly finds out she’s not his type.
Whitney Finds Out She’s Not Kenny’s Type
Whitney hops on a video call with her niece, Jamie, to talk about the bachelorette party she is planning for her. However, Jamie only wants to know where things are with her aunt and family friend, Kenny.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member tells her niece she isn’t speaking negatively about Kenny. She explains that he was not rude or anything. But she will tell her what happened between them. She reveals that they were walking down the stairs, and he tells her he will take her on a “real date.”
Whitney didn’t think much of it since he already asked her to be his plus one for the wedding. However, he then tells her he only likes “small women.” Jamie says that it is “disgustingly mean.”

Whitney Thore explains that it grinds her gears when a man shows interest and invites her to be his date at an event. But then follows it with, “You know I don’t like big women.” She knows that she is the complete opposite of what that person is in to.
So, the My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate tells Kenny he shouldn’t take her on a date. But he says that he can take her as a friend. She feels they shouldn’t go to Jamie’s wedding together anymore.
Whitney wasn’t mad about what Kenny said. She feels that he wasn’t being mean. However, what bothers her is that he continues to call her all night long. Jamie feels that his invite may get lost in the mail.
