Whitney Thore is trying to get her father, Glenn Thore, to leave his comfort zone and accomplish things he never thought he would. So, when she asked him where they should go for his bucket list trip, he told her Switzerland. He wants to see a special piece of equipment used in the printing industry.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life cast member put together a Switzerland itinerary filled with different activities popular in the country. She and Glenn even included his new family on the trip. They invited Angie and her family to tag along.
However, the trip doesn’t get off to a great start. Whitney gets Glenn upset. He tells her not to give her a hateful look and walks away. She doesn’t want to make her dad mad. She planned this whole trip for him. So, it doesn’t mean anything if he isn’t having a good time.
Whitney Rushes to Emergency Room
Whitney Thore plans a day in the mountains for her family. She hopes that no one passes out because of the altitude. She doesn’t want to have any medical emergencies. But it seems like she is the one dealing with a health scare.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate does not feel well the following morning. She has a sore throat. Her father, Glenn, tries to convince her to see a doctor. But she refuses to.
Eventually, they arranged a car to take her to the emergency room. Glenn reveals that he doesn’t know what is going on. He explains that she can ruin the whole trip, depending on how sick Whitney is.

Whitney Thore is well enough to meet up with Glenn Thore and the family on another mountain adventure the next day. They are hiking up to a glacier. Everyone is happy to see her. However, her health once again takes a turn for the worse.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star discovers that the train that is supposed to take her and her family down the mountain is shut down. And they don’t know when it will be back up and running. So, they have no choice but to take a helicopter down.
While waiting for the helicopter, Whitney starts to feel not well again. The TLC star reveals that she is “sick and feverish.” She also feels miserable. She doesn’t think she should be in such a high elevation. So, they put her and her niece, Jamie, on the first helicopter.
Whitney feels like it is a real emergency. They don’t have any other choice. They need to do whatever to get off the mountain. Will her health scare ruin the rest of Glenn’s bucket list trip?
