Whitney Thore recently made a purchase that she feels changed her life. Her friend influenced her to buy an ankle bracelet. The TLC star explains that when she put the piece of jewelry on her leg, the “sexy meter” went up “10 feet.” She also feels that she is a “brand new” person. She didn’t know that an anklet would have this “power.”
While showing off the anklet, many My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans couldn’t help but notice the hair on her legs. One person feels that the ankle bracelet “is great.” However, the hair on her legs, the fan says, “Not so much.”
Yet, not every fan finds Whitney’s hairy legs gross. Some people praise her for not shaving her legs. One person says that “hair grows naturally on women and shouldn’t have to be hidden.” Another person says if you “don’t like it, look the other way and mind your business.”
Whitney against Leg Hair Removal
Whitney knew that sharing a video of her hairy legs would get a reaction from fans. She feels that she knows people. However, her alternative was to get up, shower, shave her legs, and do something that she usually doesn’t do so that she could show off her anklet bracelet. And she wasn’t going to do that.
However, there is some hair on the My Big Fat Fabulous Life reality star’s body that she does remove. She removes the hair on her face. She also removes the hair on her “downstairs.” But she doesn’t care about removing the hair from her legs or armpits.
Whitney explains that if the hair on her body makes someone feel uncomfortable, that is their problem. She says it’s a “you problem.”
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Celeb Doesn’t See Need to Shave
Whitney Thore remembers an interaction she had with a friend while she was living in South Korea. She explains that her friend looked at her legs and, in a horrified tone, told her to shave her legs. However, the TLC celeb didn’t see the need because she didn’t have a boyfriend.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life castmate’s friend told her to “do it for yourself.” But she thought that was why she doesn’t shave her legs. She feels that she would never shave her legs for herself. She would only do it if she were doing it for someone else.
Whitney feels that if it weren’t a “societal expectation” for women to wear makeup, she probably wouldn’t wear it either. However, she isn’t judging people who love to wear makeup and would wear it even if they were living alone on a different planet. She believes it is a personal choice.
