General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) attitude toward Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has changed a lot since he first showed back up in town. Now that Sam knows the FBI has forced Jason into this informant situation, she’s dropped her animosity and has decided to do everything in her power to help him.

Of course, Sam seems to be telling herself that’s because of Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

It’s true that Danny would probably fall apart if he had to lose Jason all over again, but there’s no doubt that Sam’s personal feelings are a factor here, too.

Through her plan with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Sam is putting her own freedom on the line for Jason’s sake and falling back into her familiar pattern of taking big risks to help him.

There was a time when Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) called Sam a danger junkie, so you could argue that side of her is coming back out!

Sam can act like Jason is the dangerous one all she wants, but she’s quite the risk-taker as well.

That’s part of why Jason and Sam always made a good match!

With Sam fighting so hard to uncover and deal with the leverage hanging over Jason, we have to consider where all of this might be headed.

Sam loves Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and appreciates the stability that he’s offered her since they got together.

However, many fans agree that Sam’s heart still belongs to Jason deep down.

Jason and Sam’s romance is always going to come back around sooner or later, so we should consider what that’ll mean for Dante.

It seems like Dante’s heartbreak is inevitable, so it’s just a matter of how it all plays out.

Could GH writers have a cheating story coming up for Sam and Jason? Will Sam surrender to temptation down the road and land back in Jason’s bed?

Jason got his own little home set now that he’s moved in the room above Kelly’s, so maybe Sam will hit the sheets with him there at some point.

It’s possible Sam will dump Dante before she reunites with Jason, but there’ll be more drama if she cheats first.

Regardless, Dante is probably going to find himself single and devastated somewhere down the line.
