As Whitney Way Thore’s fans know, she’s had a bit of a rough patch lately. Her friend and coach passed away, and then her beloved cat Henchi died in her arms shortly after.
But through the pain and sadness, she’s still finding reasons to smile and enjoy life.
In a new social media post, the MBFFL star shared images from a fun basketball outing with friends. She may not be the most skilled player, but it’s clear she had a blast.
“Can you tell I played soccer and not basketball? 🥴” Whitney shared on Instagram. She attached a series of photos and videos of herself on the court.
In the first photo, Whitney poses cutely with the ball, seated on a bench and flashing a playful smile at the camera. Her long dark hair is put up in twin buns.
In the video, the TLC star practices dribbling and even does a trick passing the ball under her leg. Whitney then takes a shot and misses but makes a basket on the second try. She flips off the camera in triumph.
Whitney’s fans noted how wonderful it was to see her having fun. Her Instagram audience wrote:
