MBFFL star Whitney Way Thore has new goals for her 40s. She wanted to prioritize her love life and focus on her family plans. Now it seems that the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star is also taking her reproductive health into her own hands. Recently, Whitney went to have a check-up at a fertility clinic. She went to the clinic after noticing some major health changes in a new clip.
The reality TV celeb went with her best friend Jessica Powells. The duo exchanged some jokes after feeling that they were trying to have a baby together. Whitney’s doctor, Dr. Yalcinkaya, entered the room and asked her concerns. She told him that she wanted to see what was going on in her uterus as she had faced some major changes in her reproductive health in the past.
The TLC star also revealed that she has started having regular periods without taking any medications. Dr Yalcinkaya asked Whitney if she had any major weight changes. The latter responded, “I have lost, but it started before I even really lost this last amount of weight. I lost about 50 lbs.” Moreover, Whitney’s doctor explained that patients with PCOS started having ovulatory cycles after they lost some of their eggs.
He noted, “Some of the hormone changes occur in such a way that the vicious cycle that kept them from ovulating and having their periods is broken.” Whitney finally told her doctor that she wanted to check her general fertility. Further, she added, “I’m not trying to get pregnant, but I kind of want to know, do I need to worry about getting pregnant.”
