Maurice Benard & Cute TT Share Their Special New Baby
Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) on General Hospital (GH) adores his cute grandchild, Tiana, AKA “TT.” Ahead of the weekend, he shared a heart-melting reel and a photo on social media. Read on to see their new baby.
The Cutest Baby
TT is the child of Cailey and her husband Carlos Avila, and many fans who follow Maurice love seeing the little girl. Recently, he shared a reel of his grandchild, and ABC fans got a double dose of sweetness on Instagram. In the reel, TT chatted away with her grandpa about their new baby.
After Maurice asked her where the baby was, she pointed out that he held it in his hand. Well, it turned out to be a tiny bird that looked like it had only recently hatched. In the reel, TT and her grandfather told their fans that they were going to “save the baby quail.”
In his caption, a bit more information arrived as Maurice wrote:
We are trying to save the baby quail, it may be one of the cutest things you’ve ever seen. What should we name it?
Fans React To The Duo
No mention was made of what happened to the little bird’s mom, but hopefully, it finds a good home in the care of Maurice and his other animals, like Buddy the goat. Once, the real-life Sonny Corinthos said he would like to take his goat on the ABC show. It seems that if you have to be a goat, then Maurice is the guy to live with.
TT, of course, always gets a lot of comments on social media. So, the combination of the popular daytime drama star with her and a baby bird melted hearts. One follower wrote, “Awww TT is so precious What are you going to name the baby quail?”
Another follower suggested, “Hello, TT!!!! Name the Quail, Quebee!!”

A Kind Heart
Maurice Benard seems like a kind man on the show. And in real life, he reaches so many people on his “State of Mind” podcast. Many fans love him because he struggles with anxiety and bipolar disorder, but he also talks about it, and viewers find some comfort there.
The baby bird isn’t well, unfortunately, and in one reply, he said he didn’t know if the quail would “make it.” Still, it seems typical of his kind heart that he at least tried to help a helpless baby. Do you agree?
