LEON MOVES ON Sister Wives alum Leon Brown’s new luxury Denver digs revealed after reclusive star escapes ‘unsupportive’ father Kody
SISTER Wives alum Leon Brown’s new luxury Denver digs have been revealed in exclusive photos obtained by The U.S. Sun.
Leon, 28, has been living a low-key life in Colorado with spouse Audrey Kriss, 28, after moving away from their famous family in June 2022.
On February 28, Meri and Kody Brown’s only child was seen outside of their apartment building walking their three dogs.
For a morning stroll, the writer opted to wear comfy matching blue sweatpants and a hoodie, as seen in photos obtained by The U.S. Sun.
Leon paired the sweats with a brown jacket and tan boots.
For the evening stroll, the Sister Wives alum switched it up and changed into grey sweatpants.
Without appearing to struggle, Leon walked their three dogs with one leash in one hand and two leashes in another.
The dogs have appeared on both Leon and Audrey’s social media accounts in the past.
However, the husky dog appears to be the newest member of the family, but its name is unknown to the public.
The black dog – a lab and German Shepard mix – is named Koda, while their smallest dog, Mosby, has been described as a mutt with a “miniature poodle, terrier, chihuahua and Alaskan malamute” mix.
LUXURY LIVING
Leon has lived in Denver since moving away from their family in 2022.
Photos obtained by The U.S. Sun show the ex-reality star’s new digs that have yet to be revealed to the public.
The affordable apartment complex, which was built in 1971, has three stories and 186 units.
One-bedroom rentals go for approximately $1,349 per month while a two-bedroom units go for about $1,700 per month.
Despite being an older building, there are completely new floors, ceilings, cabinets, appliances, kitchens, and bathrooms that give off an “upscale feel,” especially with the custom tile work and high-end lighting, per the real estate listing.
Amenities include an outdoor common area, pet park, a fitness center, swimming pool, and shared laundry room.
The courtyard itself was completely rebuilt and features a fountain, elegant pavers, professionally landscaped planter beds, a built-in grill, and large shade pergola and seating, per the real estate listing.
Located minutes away from Downtown Denver, Leon lives close to the city’s premier shopping and dining destination.
LIFE IN DENVER
Leon tied the knot to Audrey on October 29, 2022, five years after meeting at Westminster College.
The couple appeared to have gotten married at a house in Colorado Springs, per the address listed on the certificate obtained by The U.S. Sun.
It is unclear who – if anyone – from Leon’s famous family attended their secret wedding, but The U.S. Sun confirmed at the time that parents Meri and Kody were not present.
It was previously announced by Gwendlyn Brown, who is the daughter of Kody and Christine, that Leon was separating from the family to feel safe and has not appeared on the TLC show in years.
According to their profile, Leon is now focused on writing.
In November, Leon made a public appearance in Denver where they performed in front of a live audience.
They wrote on Instagram at the time, “I did a big & scary thing tonight & I’m so proud of myself for being brave & my inner child is so grateful.
“Open mic night is the best night. Thanks for sharing your hearts and words with us.”
Spouse Audrey is also in the creative field, working as a graphic designer and digital artist for their business Audrey Kriss Creative.
‘UNSUPPORTIVE’ FATHER
Leon came out as transgender nearly two years ago.
They shared the news to their followers at the time, “Someone recently told me that I didn’t have to have all of my s**t figured out in order for me to share myself with the world.
“So here’s me, definitely not having almost any of my s**t figured out, to let you know that I am trans. My name is Leon or Leo (i love both) and my pronouns are they/them.”
An insider revealed to The U.S. Sun that Kody has not supported Leon’s transition.
“He’s very much estranged from them,” the insider shared.
The insider also claimed, “Kody is telling close friends, ‘This is a new person. I don’t know who this person is, but this is not the little girl that I raised.'”
MERI MOVES ON
Despite Kody’s estrangement, Meri has been showing support for her child on social media by posting photos with them and sharing loving messages.
Meri, for her part, recently announced her separation from her boyfriend of four months, Amos Andrews.
A source exclusively told The U.S. Sun about her plans going forward.
“She’s not giving up hope in finding love and her future husband,” a source revealed.
“She is going to continue dating and will keep it on the down low.”
On March 5, the Sister Wives family and the rest of the world had learned of the tragic news of Kody and Janelle’s son Garrison Brown’s death.
He was found dead of a suspected suicide in his Flagstaff, Arizona home, as confirmed by the Flagstaff Police Department.
