General Hospital Preview: We’ve Got Chills, They’re Multiplyin’, as Sonny and Kristina Target Ava

As you’ll see in the brand-new promo below, emotions are running high as the femme fatale makes bail and is released from prison. “Kristina could’ve died” doing that freefall into the pool, Carly reminds Ava (as if she could forget). “Her baby did die.”

But Kristina’s sometime stepmother isn’t the one that it sounds like Ava really needs to worry about. A grieving Molly suggests to T.J. that “we need to do something about what happened to us.” They’re not the murderous sort, though; they’re more likely to file a civil suit with the help of this returning character.

Apprised of the latest, Jason asks Sonny what he’s going to do. Good question — and for Ava, a damn scary one. Yet it’s Kristina who looks the most like she’s plotting murder most foul (which is ironic, considering General Hospital didn’t even bother to solve its last whodunit). “I can promise you,” Kristina says. “Ava is going to pay for what she did.”

Mm-hmm. We’ll be fine with that just so long as it happens after Sonny, Carly, Jason, etc., pay for all of their crimes. Can’t wait to see how the soap’s latest headwriting team manages to chart an escape route for Ava from the corner into which she’s been painted!

The young actress who plays Sam and Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) offspring, Cosette Abinante, recently posted a picture of herself, along with Scout’s onscreen brother, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and stepbrother Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) on her Instagram Story.

The music playing in the background was Eminem’s “Without Me”; however, it was especially interesting that the song was playing at the pivotal part of the song that goes, “Guess who’s back … back again …”

GH Spoilers – Scout Quartermaine Will Play A Pivotal Role In Sam McCall’s Passing

The IG Story was uploaded the afternoon of Thursday, September 19, and fans know that GH films about six weeks ahead of time. If Cosette is back on set, this likely means that she’s filming “goodbye” scenes for Sam, as Scout is the character’s only daughter and youngest child.

Six weeks from now is in and around November, and fans also know that soaps wait for their biggest storylines to implode during a Sweeps month.

In addition, Cosette, Asher, and Finn are on GH’s hospital set, so it’s clear that the trio could be at General Hospital filming potential “goodbye” scenes on that set with Sam if the character has landed in an accident which has caused her demise.

This week, Sam told Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that she was planning a dive into the river to retrieve the gun her mom threw over the bridge.

This very action has landed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) in Pentonville, pinning her to John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam J. Harrington) shooting, and Sam is looking to clear her mom’s name and restore peace and order in her family.

Many fans have since speculated that this could be how things end for Sam, but it’s likely that the character will do this sooner rather than later, so perhaps she ends up saving the day before officially exiting storylines.
