Kody Claims He Paid For Coyote Pass Property Alone, DeclaresThere Won’t Be Equal Division!
The Coyote Pass property dispute intensifies with each episode of Sister Wives. While Janelle and Meri want Kody to sell the 14 acres of land, he hesitates. The wives also want an equal share of the plot as they have paid for it. Kody recently stated that he alone paid for the property, so he will not equally divide it. He added that he covered 90% of the amount, while others contributed to the remaining 8 percent.
Janelle Brown previously claimed that she paid for the majority of the property. Kody plans to divide the Coyote Pass property into four parts. One for him, then Robyn, Janelle, and Meri. He feels Meri doesn’t deserve a big share as she only has one kid to care for. Christine had already sold her share of the property to Kody and Robyn for $10 when she married David.
Sister Wives: Janelle & Meri Join Forces Against Kody For The Coyote Pass Property
Sister Wives stars Janelle and Meri revealed that they are no longer friends. Their relationship changed after they moved out of Kody’s home. However, for the Coyote Pass property, they have joint hands. Both are dicey about Kody’s motives. Janelle also mentioned wanting to hire a lawyer to become involved in the matter.
Janelle and Meri even proposed to Kody that he could buy their share if he wanted to keep the place. The latter is interested in keeping the plot and the pond. Sister Wives fans also found proof that Janelle sold her share to Kody for $340,000. She has used the money to invest in her business and has bought the Taeda farms. However, there is no official confirmation of this.
Sister Wives: Kody Claims He Solely Paid For The Coyote Pass Property
In the last episode, Janelle, Meri, and Kody had a virtual conversation. There, the former Sister Wives claimed that the money for the Coyote Pass was paid from their family account. However, Kody refuted the claims. He shared that he alone paid for it, and the rest paid a nominal amount. His revelation confused Meri and Janelle.
Meri confessed that she had no idea about the property’s payment process. The ex-wives grow suspicious of Kody’s behavior. Janelle urged Meri to hire a lawyer so that she would not get fooled out of money. She added that she is suspicious that Kody is doing something, and he doesn’t want Meri to know about it. The Sister Wives star also shares that she no longer recognizes Kody. He has turned into a different person and feels like a stranger.
Janelle and Meri added that Kody can do whatever he wants with his and Robyn’s shares. However, the celeb is adamant about not working as per his ex-wives’ desires. He added that he isn’t their servant who will do the footwork for them. They can do whatever they please, and he will not assist them. Kody added, “I’m not rushing, but I’m not your servant to boss around.”
Kody is also hesitant to sell the Coyote Pass property. He and Robyn, with their kids, recently went to the plot to enjoy hotdogs. There, he shared that it would be difficult to let the property go. Even Robyn broke down in tears while talking about the property. Stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for more updates on the Coyote Pass property and Sister Wives.
