Jophielle Love’s Shocking Exit from ‘General Hospital’—What’s Next for the Young Star?

Jophielle Love

When the news broke that Michael Easton was leaving General Hospital as Finn went to rehab, many fans were happy that his TV daughter, Jophielle Love, remained on the soap as Violet was taken in by the Quartermaines. Unfortunately, as of the Monday, Oct. 21, episode, that stay has come to an end and Violet has gone to be with her father, who is once again clean and sober.

Love made her daytime debut in the role of Hayden’s daughter, Violet Barnes back on Oct. 23, 2019, and Finn was soon stunned to discover Hayden had lied about losing the baby and he had a little girl. During her years on the soap, the talented child star also earned a Daytime Emmy Nomination for her original song, “Shine,” which Love helped compose and Violet performed in an episode.

While Finn was in rehab, Violet was staying with the Quartermaines, being taken care of by Brook Lynn and Chase, who even stepped in when she got into a fight with a bully. But the little girl also enjoyed some fun times at the mansion, especially tea parties with Tracy.

GH Violet Finn pinky promise

Sadly, with Violet flying off to Seattle with Chase to start a new life with her father, there was only time for one last tea party with Tracy before she had to say her tearful goodbyes.

Fans of Love can continue to see the actress in her recurring role of Cooper Ormewood on the ABC primetime drama series Will Trent, and who knows — perhaps Violet will visit Port Charles again one day in the future, like for holidays? Brooklyn Rae Silzer has done the same in the past, reprising her role of Emma on occasion. Tracy could invite Violet to come for Thanksgiving and share in the traditional pizza dinner!
