Sister Wives star, Robyn Brown, is being accused of being a “gold digger” who is fooling Kody Brown to steal his money. Some of the evidence seems compelling that she may be in it for the money.

Recently, accusations that Robyn Brown is gold-digging have come to light. During the early days of Robyn joining the Brown family, Robyn played fairly well with others in the family. Coming from a monogamous marriage with David Preston Jessop, she entered a polygamous life with Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Kody Brown. Undeniably, she was shifting her life to build a better, more stable life for herself and her three children. Together the plural family helped care for one another’s kids and Robyn even added to the bunch by having more children with Kody. By committing to the relationship with the plural family she also gained financial freedom from her past debt with their help. But that wasn’t the only benefit she saw when she settled into the big family unit.

Is Robyn Brown A ‘Gold Digger’ Fooling Kody To Get His Money?

In addition to letting go of debt, Robyn Brown also got the benefit of fame and funds through Sister Wives being on TV. As time marched on, Robyn began to slyly gain influential ground with her shared husband, Kody Brown. Furthermore, his favor became noticeably shifting more toward Robyn seen by his direct support. Seemingly, Kody was right by her side as she pursued new ventures. For instance, when she bought her home and started her business My Sisterwife’s Closet. Her obedience was a shining light that made her very attractive to him. Undoubtedly, she was persuasive with Kody’s attention which helped her build her dreams. Additionally, Robyn turned Kody’s head so far that she even took an unexpectedly larger share of the Coyote Pass property. Initially, Kody planned to share the land evenly between the wives, but Robyn finagled her way to clenching more.

Robyn Brown Pulls Strings Behind Closed Doors

Notably, while Robyn Brown was the most submissive wife to Kody Brown, especially during the major divisions during the pandemic. Undeniably, that allowed her to slide under the radar by locking in the coveted “favorite” wife position. Unmistakably, Kody began to spend less and less time with his other wives. With that, he also neglected many issues Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown wanted to change but left them feeling unwanted and unheard. Furthermore, Robyn enjoyed having Kody to herself so she didn’t make him leave to spend time more evenly with the other wives. Without a doubt, that was one of the biggest reasons that Christine Brown Woolley left the marriage which led to Janelle and Meri also leaving.

Underhandedly, Robyn was said to orchestrate pitfalls that led to the family unraveling. At the end of the last season of Sister Wives, the Tell-Alls revealed that Robyn was in on the catfishing incident with Meri Brown. Likewise, she is said to have melted Meri’s wedding ring which strongly influenced the divorce with Meri.

All That Glitters Is Gold

When Robyn Brown pulled Kody’s attention away from the other wives, it gave her a solid position to have more “buying power” within the family. In 2023, Gwen Brown, Kody Brown’s daughter, talked about Robyn Brown and her dad’s “excessive” spending. She says, “I believe that my dad and Robyn have a terrible habit of spending excessively and not living within their means.”

Reportedly, she seems to be a gold digger who came into the family quietly but got her claws in Kody. Then he did all the dirty work with her whispering demands behind the scenes. Along with the ticket of becoming debt-free from her prior marriage debt, she also puppet-mastered her way to more land. Furthermore, she is living in her mansion. And she has full reign to fill it will all the pretty things until her heart is content.
