Hunter Thore shows off his acting skills as ‘escaped convict’ in spooky 4.6-star movie

Hunter Thore isn’t just a reality TV star on My Big Fat Fabulous Life. He’s been cast as the lead for a movie, Fattenin’ Frogs For Snakes, playing an escaped convict who becomes entangled in a mystery.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life was where Hunter Thore rose to fame as Whitney Way Thore’s brother. Since then, he’s been making his way into the acting industry, in a 4.6-star movie, as per IMDB.

Hunter Thore stars in horror movie

MBFFL star, Hunter Thore, stars in 2023 feature film, Fattenin’ Frogs For Snakes. The movie can be rented or bought on Amazon Prime, and has been approved by his father, Glenn Thore.

He proudly told his son, “Even though I saw your movie at the premiere at the Tara Theatre in Atlanta I’ll watch it again. Love You!!!” The film was directed and produced by Christopher Kendrick.

With a 4.6-star rating on IMDB, fans are praising Hunter for the movie. They say he’s the “best actor,” with one writing, “Oh my gosh, it was SO good! I absolutely loved it! You are such a talented actor.”

He plays an ‘escaped convict’

Hunter plays the movie lead, Jacob Bennet, an escaped convict working at a spooky southern farm home. He finds himself entangled in a mystery involving the family’s dark past, and features on the movie cover.

The ex-con seeks out a wealthy family looking for treasure in the film, which costs $13.99 to rent. Bringing horror and suspense, it’s an hour and a half long – one of several movies featuring Hunter!

Hunter is also known for two other 2023 movies: Condor’s Nest and Torn, as well as Blue Bloods in 2010. He’s always loved the industry, having discovered acting in theatre at age eight and the guitar at 12.

New GF introduced at premiere

Hunter introduced his new girlfriend to his family, including his father, Glenn Thore, and sister, Whitney, on the night his movie premiered. Whitney revealed, “I’d be scared if I was her.”

He went Instagram-official with Karen Schmidt on April 28, who Whitney loves already. One of Karen’s favorite quotes is, “You don’t have to change a thing, the world can change its heart❤️.”

Karen is one of Hunter’s biggest supporters, commenting with a simple heart emoji when he first promoted his feature film. Having also attended the premiere, they’ve been together for months!
