Home and Away‘s Leah Patterson will make a major decision over her and Justin Morgan’s wedding next week, after she is involved in a worrying car accident.
In scenes that will air on Channel 5 in the UK next week, Justin delays his anger management session to compete in a video game with Theo Poulos.
As Theo’s phone buzzes with messages from Kirby Aramoana, Justin comments on their apparent closeness, but Theo confirms that they are just mates. What Justin doesn’t know is that Theo is hiding the fact that he and Kirby are working on a surprise song for Leah and Justin’s wedding.

Later on, a buoyant Justin returns from his final day of anger management, and plans a romantic night in with Leah.
Unfortunately, his plans are interrupted by a call from police officer Rose Delaney, who informs him that Leah has been in a car accident.
Terrified Justin rushes to the station to be by Leah’s side, but before they have a chance to talk, Rose reveals that she will need to breathalyse Leah. Although Leah’s tests come back clear, both Rose and Justin are clearly concerned about her.
After the couple return home, a rattled Leah admits to Justin what really happened – she fell asleep at the wheel and so the accident was her fault. While Justin is naturally concerned, Leah is done talking and she snaps when Justin presses her for more details.
When Rose drops by the next day, she questions Leah about why she ran a red light. After hearing Leah’s explanation, Rose confirms that she won’t press charges against her, but she is worried about her health, as Leah’s recent sleep issues have become dangerous.
Leah is openly angry, especially when Justin keeps trying to talk to her about the accident.
After he follows her outside, Leah fully unleashes her anger, shouting that Justin was unconscious during most of their recent kidnapping ordeal, but she wasn’t. She admits that every time she closes her eyes, she sees him dying.
Tensions remain high between the couple following the accident, especially when Justin questions whether Leah blames him for everything that they went through with Vita Nova. Leah is quick to shut down the conversation.
Despondent Justin later confides in Alf Stewart about his concerns for his and Leah’s wedding. Alf soon decides to pass on some advice to Leah, suggesting that she needs to put herself first while she recovers from the traumatic experience that she has been through.
When Leah and Justin next come face-to-face, he’s devastated by what his fiancée has to say – they need to postpone the wedding indefinitely.
Leah explains that she needs to fix herself before she can think about getting married. How will Justin respond?
