It looks like General Hospital star Steve Burton (Jason) is kicking off the new year with a bang announcing his engagement to girlfriend Michelle Lundstrom! The actor shared a video on his Instagram featuring photos of the couple including her emotional reaction to him getting down on bended knee to present the ring.
“Engaged 1/3/25,” Burton captioned the reel of pictures set to Peter Cetera’s “Glory of Love.” He added a heart emoji, a diamond ring emoji, and the infinity symbol to show this is an everlasting love.
The actor also included a bible quote, Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Burton was previously married to Sheree Gustin from 1999-2022 and they had three children together. He went public with his new relationship with Lundstrom in May 2024 and they have been very happy together, sharing their lives and even a trip to New York City!
Naturally, the comments on Burton’s Instagram post quickly filled up with congratulations from fans and friends, including some of his GH co-stars. Rick Hearst (Ric) wrote: “Steve and Michelle, I wish you both a long, loving, and fruitful life together! Congratulations!”
“Oh, Steve!” enthused Finola Hughes (Anna). “Congratulations! I wish you both all the happiness in the future, you are a wonderful couple! Congratulations, Michelle!”
