Fans have come to know Steve Burton from various soap opera roles, notably General Hospital. However, they’ve also been following the actor on social media. In fact, Burton recently shared a special gift with fans just ahead of the holidays, all while name-dropping one of his co-stars.

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas On General Hospital

Burton is known for playing Jason Morgan on General Hospital, starting in 1991. He’s actually got quite a few soap acting credits under his belt, including Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless.

With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, however, Burton revealed he’s thinking of the holidays. In fact, he recently talked about discussing past Quartermaine holidays.

Taking to Instagram, Burton recently shared behind-the-scenes footage of the soap. The show is clearly getting ready for the holidays, at it can be seen filled with multiple Christmas trees.

As Burton wrote in the caption, “Tis the season! I actually just saw the amazing Jane Elliot-Tracy Q in the hallway and we were reminiscing about the holidays with the Quartermaines.”

“So many great times so many great memories. Such a blessing. What were your fave holiday moments? And don’t say me in a reindeer sweater.”

Some Steve Burton Fans Had Thanksgiving On The Brain, Just Not Turkey

In the video, Burton could be heard saying, “The holidays are among us over here at General Hospital.” All the while, an instrumental version of “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” played in the background.

Heeding Burton’s request, users also responded with some of their favorite Christmas moments. As one user wrote, “Oh boy, so many crazy Christmas [get togethers,] but the best of the best was when Lyla was in the mix she always kept Edward on his toes.” Another shared, “Yes, the holidays are here. Time to spend it with family and create more memories.”

However, some fans had another holiday on their mind. As one wrote, “I always look forward to seeing how the Qs’ turkey dinner gets ruined on Thanksgiving so they have to order pizza!” Another wrote, “Love having Thanksgiving pizza with the Q’s!”

As noted by Soap Central, Thanksgiving usually doesn’t go so well for the Quartermaines. Despite the family’s wealth, once their holiday plans go awry, the story often ends with them ordering pizza.

As noted in the post, Burton’s co-star Jane Elliot plays Tracy Quartermaine on the soap. First appearing on the soap in 1978, Elliot’s character serves as Burton’s character’s aunt.
