GH Spoilers: Jason Confronts Sonny — Will The Don Drop His Guard?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers spill Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) aren’t quite done butting heads.

Jason expected the road back to Sonny to be paved with difficult questions he couldn’t answer, but he wasn’t necessarily expecting the roadblocks that Sonny is placing in his path.

Learning that Sonny still wants Jason locked up, despite knowing he didn’t shoot Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and actually saved his life, will alarm but not surprise Jason.

General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Confronts Sonny — Will The Don Drop His Guard?

Still, he’ll remain steadfast in his pursuit of mending fences, but he’ll have to allow for that to happen on Sonny’s own time.

Destroyed by recent events that have led to him not feeling he can trust most of the people in his life, Sonny is headed down a dark path — but he’s not really without his brother in arms.

General Hospital Spoilers — Jason Could Be in Hot Water

When Sonny burst into Police Commissioner Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office asking what charges she’s considering pressing against Jason, the don didn’t have time to express his disappointment that she wasn’t considering such at all.

Rather than focus on what he thought should be transpiring with the case around the warehouse shooting, Sonny was taken aback by Anna’s hostility toward him — a newfound trait some fans aren’t quite taking to.

But that doesn’t mean Sonny will stop pushing. In fact, his next course of action may be to appeal to Federal Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington). Will it work? Will Sonny be able to take Jason down?

GH Spoilers Claim Sonny Isn’t Safe After All

Jason assured Dante his father was safe and that there had never been plans for him to inform against Sonny to the FBI. Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has other plans for Sonny in store though, and Jason has no clue just how unsafe Sonny might be because of it.

With Anna’s backing and interest in bringing Dex on at the PCPD, it could give Dex cover that could feel rather impenetrable to Sonny — and all too convenient.

It won’t take long for Sonny to put two and two together about Dex being hired as a police officer and Anna suddenly turning against him.

Without the ability to take Dex out without serious persecution and knowledge that Anna is keeping a close eye on him, Sonny may be at their mercy quite like a sitting duck.

General Hospital Spoilers — Some Things Never Change

Sonny may not want Jason’s help or protection, but he’s going to get it anyway. Jason is intent on looking out for his former best bud while he aims to earn his trust back.

Even if that never happens, he’s not going to sit by and let someone take out one of the most important people in his life. Jason has already saved Sonny’s life — and Dante’s.

How much farther will he have to go to prove he’s not working against him? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
