General Hospital spoilers reveal Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is done playing nice and resorts to tactics more befitting her soon-to-be husband’s family. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) served her with divorce papers hours before the explosion at his father Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) penthouse, which left him severely burnt and fighting for his life.
Now Willow learns that the two children she shares with Michael have been taken from her. So the once sweet, naive Willow Tate, prepares to battle two wealthiest and most powerful families in Port Charles.
General Hospital: Willow Tait Stunned And Horrified
GH spoilers report Willow Tait is horrified when her mother Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) informs her that her children have been taken from her apartment via a court order filed on behalf of Michael Corinthos by his lawyer Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). This news didn’t sit well with Willow. She and Michael agreed to keep their divorce civil, especially for their children’s sake. Earlier the same day Willow declined to have her attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) file an emergency temporary sole custody order.
General Hospital spoilers confirm Diane acted fast once she presented the same situation to Michael’s mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), as Martin offered to Willow. Had she taken his advice she would not be in this predicament. However, Willow never expected something like this from Michael but his family shows no mercy. First blood has been drawn in what will no doubt be a nasty custody battle.
GH: Willow Has The Upper Hand
General Hospital spoilers remind Wilow and Michael are still legally married. Although they are separated and Michael filed for divorce, Willow is still Michael’s next of kin. As such it is Willow that has control over all Michael’s medical care via the medical proxy he filed. Nina is quick to inform Willow of this leverage. Of course, Willow is reluctant to resort to such below-the-belt and downright dirty tactics.
GH spoilers show Willow has had enough. She’s been pushed into a corner. Now she prepares to fight with all she has to make sure custody of Wiley and Amelia remains solely with her. Let’s not forget that Willow too has resources as her mother Nina Reeves is a very wealthy woman and will fund the fight to keep her grandchildren with her daughter.

GH spoilers confirm Willow decides to use the medical proxy Michael gave her. This bold move sends a clear message to Carly that she refuses to allow her and her family to make decisions about her children. Willow shows she’s taking control over her life and the lives and futures of Wiley and Amelia.
General Hospital spoilers also remind Carly Spencer is a formidable adversary. She is relentless especially when it comes to her children and grandchildren. However, Willow isn’t fighting Carly alone. Nina Reeves is not afraid to go toe to toe with Carly. Nina will not let her grandchildren be ripped from their mother. So this custody battle also reignites the war between Carly and Nina. Sadly, if things get ugly, the children they are fighting for are the ones who will end up hurt.
